Customer Supplied

eMachineShop normally supplies raw materials for parts to be made. Customer-supplied material is accepted upon request, usually when the material is not readily available or when the customer has an existing supply. To supply material to eMachineShop, please proceed as follows:

1. Choose Job | Material.
2. Select the closest matching material.
   
3. Check Request Special Material.
4. Estimate how much material is needed accounting for work-holding area and some rejects (unless possible under-qty is acceptable).
   
5. In the Special Material dialog enter instructions. Here are some examples:

"We need blue acrylic with a semi-transparent mirror surface. If you can acquire the material please proceed under the conditions shown in the Special Material dialog. Otherwise we can supply (24) 12" x 12" sheets, in which case please advise the total job price with material cost credit for our approval."

"We will supply SS-301 to eMachineShop in (3) 1" diameter x 6 ft rods.  Please advise the total job price with material cost credit for our approval."

Then, place your order and wait for a manual price quotation. If you agree to the price, ship material to the address on the bottom of the contact page showing the job number on the outside of the box.
