Sheet nylon is used for:
- Tanks
- Surface bearings
- Wear plates
- Toy components
- Etc.
Sheet
nylon can easily be milled, routed or punched, drilled, tapped, etc. Cutting by laser is possible but less common due to toxic fumes.
At 1/4 inch thickness nylon sheet is approx. 1.51 lb per sq. ft or 0.0105 lb per sq. in.
