Ordering Checklist
Before ordering, carefully check your job. Once submitted to eMachineShop, changes
create delays and increase cost.
To check your job:
- Line positions - Check the position
of all lines. Use a magnified view for intricate areas of your design.
Press TAB to step forward through lines and SHIFT+TAB to step backwards.
You may want to review the numeric values on the Property bar for each
line. If applicable, also review the side and bottom views.
- Line Settings - Press the TAB key
to step through lines and for each line review the first two sections
of the status bar. If applicable, also review the side and bottom views.
- Comments - Review comments to machinist
(text & lines).
- 3D view - Choose View | 3D and look
at your part from several angles.
- Job menu - Select each command of
the Job menu and review all info.
- Completeness - Check missing holes,
cutouts, or other features.
- If you change your design, repeat these checks before ordering.
