Purchasing Agents
If you are a purchasing agent or buyer and need to order parts designed in the eMachineShop CAD, please follow these steps:
If another person created the design file and you need to place the order there are two methods:
If you are reasonably computer savy:
- Download the eMachineShop CAD software
- Get the .ems design file from the designer
- Run the CAD software
- Choose File | Open and open the design file
- Choose Order | Place Order and follow the instructions
The second method:
- Walk over to the designer.
- Have him open the design and select Job | Settings | Payment.
- Enter the payment information. If you are not able to do this for security reasons, enter "WILL CALL" in the Check # field and call in your payment information.
- Have him choose Order | Place Order and follow the instructions.
To reorder parts previously ordered by another person, we recommend that you have the prior person place the order as they will be familiar with our online ordering system and any technical issues with the item being ordered. If that person is not authorized to provide payment information you can perform that step at their computer.
If the prior person is not available or you need to order independently for any other reason, please contact eMachineShop.com and provide:
- prior six-digit job number
- desired quantity.
eMachineShop will provide an updated price and delivery time. Upon your approval, please provide credit card information by phone and eMachineShop will place the order on your behalf. When ordering this way you will not be able to review the pre-order checklist and therefore waive any claims resulting from not directly reviewing the checklist. Please review eMachineShop
