This part is for a digital motor controller. One shaft
connects to a DC motor via a rigid coupling. The other shaft
connects to an industrial encoder via another coupling. The encoder monitors and
sends the data to a PC which monitor's RPM. The
middle large shaft allows different weights to be attached to simulate
various loads on the motor.
