Responsibility
If you are new to custom manufacturing, it is important to understand who is responsible for what:
- eMachineShop's responsibility is the create your parts to meet the drawing and explicit specifications included in your orders.
- Your responsibility is to create designs and specifications that meets your desired need and functionality.
To insure your parts meet your functionality:
- Make sure you include all relevant specifications - any design elements that require a specific tolerance or specific look etc. must be specified precisely in your design - either thru the built-in specification dialogs or by using the Comments-To-Machinist feature.
- Pay attention to and resolve analyzer warnings and errors wherever practical.
- Review the ordering checklist for each order.
- Review the other Help sections.
