eMachineShop has started a Twitter account. The account will provide brief updates on what's going on inside the company. Messages, limited to 140 characters by Twitter, will provide a range of information from equipment issues to interesting orders to unique ideas. Customers and prospects are welcome to view messages at:

or by adding "emachineshop" to their "Following" list.

According to president Jim Lewis, Twitter began with a reputation of use as frivolous messages between teenagers but is currently being used more and more by leading businesses as a unique channel of communications to keep their customer in the know.
