Hi all,

New to this software.. I created a part using the Revolve feature - it's essentially a gear rack revolved 360degrees, or you could also think of it as a "ribbed" cylinder. Started with a circle in Top view, added the ribbed features and Revolved around the center line in Front View. So far so good -

I tried going to Bottom view and adding a circle protrusion with external threads, but the software said that the protrusion should be made using the Revolve feature. So I went ahead and did that, then went back to Bottom view and tried to add external threads to that circle. The diameter of the protrusion is 0.25", I chose 1/4-20 threads, and the maximal thread length will not go above 0.00mm. Any idea how to work around this?

Thank you!
Deena
