How can I scan an existing piece into eMachineShop?

Have flat plates with designs cut into them that I want to get into the program so I can make some changes to the designs and new ones cut. How would I get the design in?

Thanks for the reply. I have read that before. My question I suppose is more general as I don't have the design in any program currently. How can I scan it (the actual plate) and turn it into a dxf file, then import it into eMachineShop?
