I am setting an order up for injection mold tooling. I am 90 percent sure that I want a tool that is going to produce 1 mold with each shot, however I am considering a tool that pushes out 2. If I did eventually decide that I wanted to "upgrade" after order submission, would it be possible? How would I pay for that? If it is possible, how long will I have to do so from time of order submission? I also am deciding to have actual molds made.
Please advise.
Thank you in advance.

Modification of tooling is quoted manually and can be done at any time. But generally it would not be economical to do what you propose. You would pay as a surcharge on the subsequent order.

Thank you.
There is a 200 dollar difference between 1 and 2 mold tooling on my project. So if i were to change from 1 to 2, it would cost me the difference in price, plus the surcharge (minimum 25 dollars), correct? If it came to that, how would I submitt that payment? I just want to be clear before I submitt the order.

Yes. That payment would be added manually to your subsequent order, upon your approval, and you would pay for the second order (with tooling changes) in one credit card transaction.
