I have read the posted material on tolerances. I still do not understand how crucial of a setting it is. I need my object to have a 18mm outer diammeter to fit inside a 19mm opening. If it is too large, it wont fit. Is the default setting adequate enough for this?

The difference between 18 and 19 mm is 1mm or ~.039". The default tolerance in eMachineShop jobs depends on the process selected but in many cases is .005" so there should be no problem in fitting. You can check the default tolerance in Job | Settings | Specifications.

"I've just received probably my 8th small order in the last 6 months, and shipped off two more. You guys have never missed a date or sent me a part that didn't exceed the manufacturing tolerences specified. Not one bad thread! You've sped up my project time AND reduced my costs. This is an incredibly valuable service, keep up the great work!"
