Error "Object Expected" Line 780

Howdy,

Just downloaded the software and tried three times to make a simple drawing . . . just after creating a couple of simple rectangles and "joining" them (I forget what the term was) when I tried to select everything (holding the left mouse button down and drawing the dotted "rectangle" across them) the program leaves several iterations of the dotted "slecting" rectangle - like a frozen series of snapshots - and then crashes. When I close the program (not saving) and the survey screen appears, I get a MessageBox with the following:

"A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you want to Debug? Line: 780; Error: Object Expected"

. . . this happened consistantly three times in a row, all three attempts to create the same rectangular objects in the drawing. Any ideas? I captured & PDF'd the screens for anyone to see . . .
