Grooves - special shape

I made a shape 5/8" thick, 1" diam, 1/2" hole through center axis with edges of the hole rounded 1/4" radius, outside corners rounded 1/8" radius. I want to put a groove around the out side about 1/16 inch deep and radius 3/4" centered on the sides. I have mined the tutorials but am not getting any of the tricks to work yet. Please help.
I would also like to do this same treatment to a tear drop shaped piece with the same hole through the center of the larger circle.

Third question - is it possible to attach my current 3D view to the topic I post? Easily?

For non-rectangular grooves use Comments To Machinist.

For turned parts use the Revolve feature.
