I'm currently using the software under Windows 7 x64 RC. It works quite well, but the drawing functions to not update the screen correctly. More appropriately, the window does not refresh while objects are being drawn, resized or moved, during scrolling or when the window is being resized. The window does update, but only after the mouse button has been released. This causes artifacts on screen and it makes it hard to position objects.

Clearly I'm using the software on an OS it was never designed to run on, and I'm happy that it works as is, but still, is there a Windows 7 update planned?

This may be due to partial support of the OpenGL graphics by the video card driver. So it may be fixed by MS or card vendor when they release the official OS.

It may be nVidia's Windows 7 drivers. I noticed the same problem in Blender (open source 3D modeler). The 3D view in EMS is also messed up. There are lots of artifacts. It looks like a problem with the Z buffer in that case. I'm willing to bet its the OpenGL driver.

Oddly enough, software mode doesn't fix anything.

Thanks for additional information. I think they will fix the driver till the official release.
