I am having problems duplicating this part. The tetrahedronal protrusion in the middle is causing me problems. I can't figure out how to do it without causing double-line errors. I'm also having basic issues extruding the base part itself even before adding the complex piece. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

OK I'll mess around some more with the intersections. I think what you're basically telling me is that I need to make 3 adjacent shapes to represent the whole piece instead of trying to alter the one piece the way I'm currently doing it. I just don't know how to join 3 pieces together as one piece without overlapping lines and getting an error.

I think I just made a breakthrough. Disregard my last comment.

Thanks.

I can't figure out how to make the 15-degree angle cut on the face. I tried a 45-degree side wall for that edge - no good. Tried a 135.....no good. The cut is still straight 90.

I've tried a few other simple test pieces to play around with the side cut and I can't get it work at all. Can you tell me the proper steps to make a side angle on a simple test piece?

"Thanks, using the eMachineShop software was easy, even for a novice. I was able to quickly design my part, select a finish and quantity and get a fair instant price quote. I look forward to getting the finished parts and hope the end result is as good as the remainder of the design and ordering process."
