Thu Aug 13, 2009 1:35 am Traditional Polynesian Paddle-Alluminium
Hello,
The dimenions are:
O/L=1050mm
Handle=63mm dia knob at end and 42mm dia stem
Blade=441 Lx147mm wide fethered to point and 42mm thick in middle tapered to edges
If the above makes any sense, is there any stock avail to machine this out of? Haven't quite finalised the design yet but there will be traditional totem carvings to be done on the blade and handle. The dimensions must be multiples of 21.
Thanks.

You can quickly check machinability and cost of your part after drawing it in eMachineShop software using Analyze/Price feature.
"Quite easy to use. Within only about 10 minutes I had it downloaded, installed, and had designed and priced a brass cog with 32 teeth, 1 inch in diameter and 1/4 inch thick. The quote was immediate."
