Watch case design

I'm working on the design for a watch (as in wrist watch) case and need some advice.
The eMachineShop file is attached.

It's only a small case 44mm x 36mm and I was wondering if it's possible to manufacture such a case with 1mm walls? I thinking 2mm would be the minimum needed, but I want to shave the size down as much as possible.

Thinking of using Aluminum, although Delrin sounds attractive from the cost listing approximation, but I get the same price as aluminum when I calculate it.

Any other issues you can foresee in such a design?

I'm no expert in mechanical design, so any help appreciated.
