I am designing the muzzle of a speargun and would like it to be from a strong UV resistant plastic. How can I check on UV resistance for plastic to be used outdoors?

For specialized specs like that you would probably be best off searching for material manufacturers and checking specs on their sites.

I would imagine UV resistant plastic is very common? Arn't all drain down pips made from UV resistant plastic? Surely it is a common material?
