Hi

I am very new at this soft but the "auto" machine feature seems really annoying / then again maybe what I am tring to do was not possible with previous versions as well.
I attached the design file and will describe how I used to do this in local shop that went under

1. Used wire edm machine to cut out "Top" conture and holes (drilled holes for hole start)
2. Turend it 90 deg (to "back") and used wire edm to cut in the slices
3. Used a mill to cut in the vertical slices and drill the holes + chamfer the top plate
4. Used mill for top and bottom chamfers
5. Used drill and threading for "front" holes
6. Used drill and threading for left and right side to make hole and thread

maybe I am tring to do something wrong here but I think it is unaccaptable for this softare that the part is taken out of vice and turned?

could somebody help me to revice this part so I could try to get it made, at least price estimate would be nice

Thank You

Your design looks good. Just try to get the 3D as close to what you want as possible. If you need EDM for some contour add comments to machinist pointing to the line with text " [-- login to view link --] ".

For the outermost line in top view you can use Line | Corner | Round | 0.0625".

The software will automatically choose the optimal machining sequence and advise if any problems.
