Clear Glass-like finished product

Hi, I am looking for advice on what type material & processing would result in a finished product that is clear as glass, light weight and easily machined. I don't have any background in this area.
Please see the attached for reference to the type product/application.

Interesting design. It's not easy to get a glass-like finish. You can use acrylic and buff polishing to get close but polishing is difficult with the crevices in your shape.

If not completely clear at least an outer surface that has a consistent looking sheen and texture. A Material with translucent shading property proportional to its density - to have a bright light is behind it and look good. Will be polished to high gloss as needed in selected areas.

There are lots of translucent plastics. You can search for them on the web.
