Simple object is extremely expensive?

I made a simple rubber bike grip that was 2 lines and the price came out too high. Then I made an aluminum block with a hole in it and it was a ridiculous price as well. I think it was using too many machines but I only need one. I think it's the automatic option for the machines. I don't get a big list of machines I want to use though like it shows in the videos. Please help I just want to make a couple grips and not spend thousands of dollars.

Rubber requires mold tooling. For much lower pricing use a material that can be machined such as Delrin.
