Hi could anyone give me any sugjestions on turning my flat on one side bumpy on the other light house lenze cross section design to work as a mold for clear liquid acrilic so I can make a linear freshnel lense? It uses a hyperbola equation to make a curve that focuses light to a line better than modeling the lense with a circle. The freshnel lense is used to use less material & it was a pain to model the hyperbola in brl cad then subtract cubes and shift what was left over using scripts. Now i am trying to find how to make this thing..... what materials could I make this mold out of? what would give me a smooth surface with this ridgey design and who has exp. casting clear acrilic?

Download CAD Software

"Quite easy to use. Within only about 10 minutes I had it downloaded, installed, and had designed and priced a brass cog with 32 teeth, 1 inch in diameter and 1/4 inch thick. The quote was immediate."
