Hi there,
Just wondering if it is possible to cut out a section of a sphere from a solid object? For example, I want a cube with half a sphere cut out of the face of one side. Can I do this? How would I if possible?
Thanks for your help

Yes it's possible. Please review 3D Machines Settings.

Thank you for your reply.
I've been looking into the 3D settings, and I think you are meaning for me to use the Far Edge -> Round setting. This may work, but it leaves me with a flat edge on the far side after the radius is applied so this won't work for my purposes. What I need to accomplish is a spherical shaped indent on a flat surface.
If there is another way to do this, maybe you could point me in the right direction.

Not if the diameter of the circle is twice the radius of the rounding.

Ok, so it can be done but with the maximum diameter of 16mm, as the software's maximum far edge radius is 8mm.
Impossible to go bigger then?

You can type in any value but non-standard values might not be priced properly - that can be resolved at the time of ordering.
