Designing a part with "Revolve" and "air insi

I'm New to the forum and want to know if it's possible to design a part that has both a "revolve" and an "air inside" element to it. I need the part to be a solid material and cylindrical in shape (which is why I want to set the z-axis to revolve). But I also want to notch on one end in order to weld the finished part to a 1.875 inch diameter tube (imagine a piece of solid bar stock being notched on one end in order to butt up against another piece of round material like a rung on a ladder). I have no problems drawing either elements of the part, but cannot seem to combine them so that they can be viewed in 3D. Can this be done?

Yes you can combine Revolve with other features such as notches.

I've attached my design for comments. I've come up with a way to create a half notch by drawing a second element set to "air inside", but what I want to achieve is a complete notch with a radius of 1.875 inches. How do I accomplish this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Draw full notch region but move it into Back view. Also please remove near edge rounding for top view circle - you specified it in Revolve feature.
