Quick reference to parts of the forum registration agreement.
Please do:
Give enough detail in questions so others can help.
Download the current software version before asking questions about the CAD software.
Help others by indicating which suggestion worked if you receive an answer that works.
Build forum trust by responding to posts where you know the answer and not answering when you are unsure.
Use descriptive titles such as "Unable to see 3D view" instead of "Having problem".
When possible explain what you are working on to stimulate ideas for others.
Avoid abbreviations.
Proof read your text.
Keep images under 50kb.
Respect newbies that are learning.
Do not post content that:
Is about a specific price (prices become outdated).
Is about versions of the software other than the latest (see download page).
Is not about eMachineShop and it's uses.
Is about non-technical issues.
Is about an order in progress - instead use:
[-- login to view link --]
Is a request for price quotation (the CAD software gives prices).
Copies immediate prior post when replying (avoids clutter).
Mixes different topics in one thread (use another thread instead).
Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, vulgar, profane, sexually explicit, obscene, insulting, abrasive, racially or ethnically offensive or otherwise objectionable.
Leverages the forum to publicize a gripe. We care about our customers but problems do occur. Please contact customer service if you have a concern or complaint. If we are very busy and on voice mail, please use the email contact page of the web site.
May infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party.
Constitutes advertising or solicitation.
Is for an informational student homework assignment.
Provides any non-public information about eMachineShop or any other company or person including one-on-one correspondence not specifically intended for public posting.
Suggests or encourages illegal activity
