I've drawn the bolt and would like to thread it on the end.
How do I do this?

Can't get the threads to show up on the 3D display.
Are the threads supposed to show up on the 3D?
Tried everything I know to try.

To minimize rendering time.

Thu Apr 02, 2009 2:13 pm [first time] Can not see threads in side (Left) view of rod |
|
|
|
Hi:
I'd like to have some 2-56 male threads on the end of a 3/16" dia rod. A note showed up saying that in the 3D view circles would indicate the threads, but I don't see any circles. In the side or Left view there are no threads showing.
Tried to start with a rod and turn it down for the threads, but not clear how. So add a smaller diameter piece prior to threading.
Please help.
