casing help

Hi I am trying to make a aluminium slim case that would house a glass lens approx 2mm thick and 36mm diameter. I need to make it so that it can hold the lens neatly in place either via two screwed halves or some form of locking system. Can anyone help me in the design process I have been trying fo days but it just doesnt seem to be working for me! Help much apprectaited.
