Does emachineshop offer hexagonal broaching. If so would this add significant price to a smaller order of parts made of 6061 aluminum.

Consider Rotary Broaching as an option; it can be used on just about any mill or lathe. You will need to purchase a broach holder, and a broach. Standard hex broaches are readily available. Once you have the broach holder, the number of different shapes you can broach is limitless. Typically, you can broach shapes smaller than 1" major diameter. The ideal depth is 1x the diameter. It works in steel, brass, and aluminum. We sell these holders at Polygon Solutions Inc., and can help you select the right unit for your machine.
