Shipping to Europe

Regarding the software, and shipping your products to europe in general: Even when I specify fairly large (and heavy) quantities the software insists on using air-freight. That's fast bur also very expensive. I saw a post on this forum where it was mentioned that if one choses the cheapest option the software also goes for the cheapest shipping option - but that seems to be airfreight anyhow.
So the question is really, can you ship e.g. a pallet via regular ship/container-borne freight? Its somewhat slower, 2-3 weeks instead of one, maybe, but much cheaper.

Yes we can. Currently such shipments are quoted manually. Place your order in the normal way but in Job | Settings | General | Admin enter "Please quote with ocean shipping and do not proceed without my approval."

Can you give me rough idea of the price difference in regard to air-freight. For example, taking one pallet weighing 800 lbs, would it be something like 33 pct of the air-freight price, or even only 25 pct? I know that ration varies with weight, but still...
And have you got any idea about specific delivery time to north europe / denmark?

At that weight ocean shipping should be substantially less - maybe half or so. Generally it adds roughly 4 weeks.
