Silk Screening

The Silk Screen machine is used to add graphics to your parts.  Silk screening is a method of stencil printing in which ink is forced through a stretched silk mesh. Inks can be in one or more colors. 

Screenprinting inks can be used to work with a variety of materials, such as textiles, ceramics, metal, wood, paper, glass, and plastic. As a result, screen printing is used in many different industries.

Silk Screening guidelines:

For silk screening we recommend one of the following bases:

• matte powder coat

• anodized aluminum with fine brushing

• injection molding with matte finish

We recommend capital letter sizes at least 0.1 inch high.

Example parts

Flat surfaces such as electronic consoles, enclosures and assorted parts.
