Heat sinks are used in many electronic devices to keep electronic components cool. New products and designs often require new custom heat sinks.
eMachineShop customers have made a wide variety of custom heat sinks. Heat sinks are usually made from aluminum or copper. Generally the following processes are used:
Black anodizing of aluminum heat sinks is often done as it slightly increases radiation of heat. However unfinished heat sinks are effective as well.
