Introduction

This section walks you through creating a simple 2D and a 3D part.

This information is also provided in the Video guides.

Experienced computer users may prefer to "jump in the water":

1. Choose File | New.
   
2. Choose Job | Material and select a material.
3. Draw your part using the left toolbar.
4. Selecting lines one at a time, choose Line | Machine and select a process. For 3D shapes, on the numeric bar, set the Z value.
   
5. Choose Order | Place Order.
6. Resolve any error messages.
