Demonstration of the eMachineShop Process
Using the free eMachineShop design software
is easy. Also see the video guides!
Step 1: Select a material
View a list of materials and choose one for your part.
The properties of each material are shown to help you make a selection.
 Step 2: Draw your part using the easy-to-use design software.
Use basic shapes (lines, circles, arcs, etc.) to create your design. Or
import from another CAD program.
Even if you have never
used drawing or CAD software you will find the eMachineShop software easy to learn. If you have used complex CAD
software you will be pleasantly surprised at the simplicity and power of the
eMachineShop software.
Step 3: View your part in 3D.
For parts not made from sheet material, set the 3D shape by entering the height of each line. Then click
a button to view your design in 3D. Spin it around and see your
part from any angle and any size.
Step 4: Choose the Analyze command.
The built-in expert machinist won't let you make a mistake. If you are trying to make something that is impossible to
machine the expert will inform you. Designing was never this easy!
Step 5:
Review pricing and place your order.
Fill in your address and purchase information. Review the
price and give the "Place Order" command. Your custom
part will be fabricated and shipped to you.
Custom fabrication was never this streamlined,
cost-effective, and enjoyable.
