So I've got my design completed using Adobe Illustrator but when I export to .dxf there are a million line segments (even making up a simple circle) and it takes forever to render...

Is there a better way to convert so all those extra line segments aren't there? In Illustrator my lines are clean...

Attached you'll see on the left is what the import looks like - on the right the original file...

I understand I can trace the design - That's certainly a useful feature - I actually suggested a tracing option to you guys many years ago...

However, that doesn't help me right now...I have a complex multi-part design already completed...I was hoping there was a better way to export so to import a clean useable design...

Anyone have experience with this using Illustrator?
