Anyone looking for a "cool" winter project? Take a look at these snow sculptures: [-- login to view link --] The idea would be to make a snow sculpture rapid-prototyping mechanism ! It does not seem that difficult. It would take 3 stepper motors, a frame and a basic X,Y,Z motion mechanism. Add a tube that supplies water drips and voila - ice sculptures overnight ! Put it in front of your home or business and watch the crowds form.
