Creating squared recess on edge of design

I am trying to create a cut-out/recess from edge to edge of a design with the CNC Milling machine. I need the cut-out or groove to be squared where it reaches the edge of the design but, software is requiring me to put a radius on the corners of the lines indicating the cut depth where they meet at the edge of the design. Is there a way to keep the edge of the cut-out with squared corners?

I'm not sure I understand what you have drawn so far but take a look at File | Create | Sample Shapes - that might help. If not please see How to post a CAD file.

Figured it out. I didn't hve the outside line of the cut-out exactly over the outside line of the desiign. Can't be off the outside line of the design even a fraction.
