I already see a tapped hole in your design so just make another.

i need it to not go the whole way through.
I need it to stop at 65mm deep.
I tried giving it a -65mm value, it looked right but didnt get through analyzing.
is there a tutorial i've missed?
cheers

You need too create tapped holes in the Front and Back views each with negative Z.

As the error messages states, you need a positive value.

i put a positive value and it automatically reverts back to negative or program crashes.
you tell me the threaded hole must have a negative value, then that it needs a positive value.
neither work as far as i can see.

this is ridiculous, 30minutes to design the bracket, 1 week to get a 65mm deep hole with 55mm of thread.

tell me, i should give hole what z value?
i should give thread what z value?

not having this bracket is costing me 50bucks a day, so please help me.

Holes get negative Z. Thread lengths are positive. Hopefully the attached file should get you headed in the right direction.
